Emmanuel Mandiranga has joined Mozambican club UD Songo on a one year contract from CAPS United.

Mandiranga becomes the second Zimbabwean to join the Mozambican side after defender Tinotenda Muringai signed a one year loan deal from Dynamos earlier this month.

The striker who was one of the standout players for CAPS United despite the club having a poor season last year said he is hoping to make the best out of his move to one of the big clubs in Mozambique.

“I’m looking forward to this new chapter in my career. It’s every player’s wish to take his career to a higher level and hoping to make the best out of it,” Mandiranga said.

“I can’t wait to be on the field of play and help my club achieve it’s set targets. I would also want to take this opportunity to thank all the coaches that I passed through their hands to be where I’m today. I also want to thank my former team mates for the support that they gave me for me to be what I’m today.”
