Ruvimbo Funeral Central Region Soccer League has secured a sponsorship deal for monthly individual players and coach awards with Nichrut Investments.

The Shurugwi based Nichrut Investments will sponsor four individual categories, that is the Player of the Month worth US$70, Goalkeeper of the Month US$70, Top Goal Scorer of the Month $100 and Coach of the Month US$100. The sponsorship deal is with immediate effect.

The league’s Board Member Marketing and Coroprate Affairs Pithias Shoko welcomed the sponsorship saying it’s going to increase the competition going into the second half of the season.

“As a league, we are really grateful to Nichrut Investments for coming to our aid at such a time when sponsorship is hard to come by,” Shoko said.

“We really cherish their sponsorship and we are going to guard it jealousy so that we maintain this relationship going forward. I’m sure this sponsorship is going to increase competition among the teams going into the second half of the season. It comes at a time when the teams will be fighting for positions with some wanting the championship title while others are trying to survive the chop.”
