The Premier Soccer League is set to impose a US$1250,00 fine on debutants Sheasham FC for failing to fulfill a premier league match against CAPS United back in May.
In a leaked judgement, the PSL Disciplinary Committee has found Sheasham guilty of not fulfilling a league match and recommended a fine and also for the Construction Boys to meet the costs of the hearing.
The PSL fixtured the match at Mandava stadium in Zvishavane after having suspended Sheasham’s home ground Bata stadium for completion of renovations.
Bata stadium had only hosted one match against Highlanders which drew some social media criticism over it’s state leading to the PSL to temporarily shelve it from hosting PSL matches.
Sheasham refused to travel to Mandava stadium for the match citing incapacitation. The PSL has also awarded the match to CAPS United on a 3-0 scoreline.
